The importance of bearing usage environment on operating trajectory and loading loadTime:2024-05-10 The selection of specifications, dimensions, and accuracy should be based on the location of use, usage conditions, and environmental conditions. Matching appropriate bearings is a prerequisite for ensuring the lifespan and feasibility of unidirectional bearings. 1. Usage: Unidirectional bearings are suitable for bearing combined radial and axial loads, mainly radial loads. They are usually paired with two sets of bearings and are mainly used in transmission parts such as front and rear wheel hubs, active bevel gears, differentials, and reducers of automobiles. 2. Permissible speed: In a correctly installed and well lubricated environment, it is allowed to be 0.3-0.5 times the maximum speed of the bearing. Under normal circumstances, it is advisable to use a maximum speed of 0.2 times. 3. Permissible tilt angle: Unidirectional bearings generally do not allow the shaft to tilt relative to the housing hole. If there is a tilt, it should not exceed 2 '. 4. Permissible temperature: Under normal load conditions, with the lubricant having high temperature resistance and sufficient lubrication, general bearings are allowed to operate in ambient temperatures of -30 ℃ -150 ℃. When the bearing rotates, the raceway surfaces of the inner and outer rings are in rolling contact with the rolling element, so the running trajectory is a dark surface. The bearing running trajectory attached to the raceway surface is not abnormal, so the load conditions can be determined. Therefore, when removing the bearing, please pay close attention to and observe the running trajectory of the raceway surface. If you carefully observe the running trajectory, you will find that it only bears radial loads, bears large axial loads, unidirectional bearings bear torque loads, or there is extreme rigidity inequality on the bearing housing. It can be used to check whether unexpected loads have been applied to the bearings and whether installation errors are significant, and become a clue to investigate the cause of bearing damage. If there is no selection error and the bearing can be used correctly, but it has been used for a long time before its lifespan, in this case, the damage state is peeling. On the other hand, there is also unexpected early damage to bearings that cannot withstand use. As the cause of this early damage, there are insufficient considerations in use and lubrication, as well as foreign object intrusion, errors in bearing assembly and large shaft deflection, and insufficient research on bearings on shafts and bearing boxes. It can be said that there are many cases where the reasons for bearings overlap with each other. So, on the basis of fully understanding the machine, operating conditions, and peripheral structure of the bearings used, if the condition before and after the accident can be understood, and combined with the damage situation of one-way bearings and various reasons for investigation, it can prevent similar accidents from happening again. |
